Teach For America is the national corps of college graduates of all majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools.

Over 4,400 corps members teach in 25 urban and rural regions, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Phoenix.

Teach for America Application Process:

The Teach for America application process, including minimum requirements, the admmission process, and the application timeline. There are several deadlines each year, starting in September. Apply as early as possible in the admissions cycle.

Requirements include a minimum 2.5 GPA. Candidates should have demonstrated past achievement, perserverence, strong critical thinking skills, organization ability, the ability to influence others, the desire to work relentless in pursuit of Teach for America's mission, and high expectations for students and families in low income communities.

Teach for America alumni information including career services, employer and graduate partnerships to recruit corps members, and alumni networking resources.

Teach for America has graduate school partnerships with top-ranked business, law, medicine, public policy, and education schools. Employer partners include Accenture, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, The Bridgespan Group, The Capital Group Companies, Goldman Sachs, Google, JPMorgan, McKinsey & Company, Monitor Group, Morgan Stanley, and Wachovia.
